Permulaan's approach is to reintroduce residents to the community and create a sense of familiarity for the residents by striking a balance between empathy and curiosity. Introducing familiar HDB elements into the design of the space and facade allows residents to feel a sense of comfort and safety while the community's curiosity about the happenings of the halfway house would be elevated due to the partial images theory.
