The Midst aims to reimagine preschool spaces in the void decks of HDB blocks in Singapore to allow children to learn in a diverse and less enclosed environment, thus nurturing their social confidence. This project focuses on the Reggio Emilia curriculum that enables the children to learn through collaboration with their peers and teachers, and the environment seeks to deviate from the conventional classroom setup of desks and chairs.
