With declining engagement in museums, the future of museums looks bleak. Interests are developed when young; therefore by studying what keeps children interested, the Museum Academy explores the possibility of merging museum contents with SOTA’s existing library to promote engagement with children in an educational context. This project will be a collaboration with local museums, using museum collections to stimulate circulation around the library piquing students to interact from art to art.
